Windy Hollow Cabin on Cedar Creek is ideal Ruidoso lodging for one or two couples or families up to six individuals. This Ruidoso cabin is a two-bedroom, two-bath cabin with a Ben Franklin wood burning stove in the living room and a gas fireplace in the kitchen/den area (approximately 1200 ft2). Each of the two bedrooms has a double (full) bed. The living room also has two twin beds. Behind this vacation rental cabin is a long open deck and covered porch overlooking Cedar Creek. The cabin sleeps two couples plus two individuals comfortably (4 to 6 people recommended).

The knotty pine kitchen is fully stocked with an electric stove refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and kitchenware including utensils, glasses, plates and serving ware that will accommodate almost any chef. The only amenity missing is a dishwasher, so if you don't want to wash dishes during your stay please bring paper and plastic. Adjacent to the kitchen is the den area with a gas fireplace that makes the fire starter in the family an instant hero. For the more qualified fire starter, the Ben Franklin wood burning stove in the living room offers a beautiful cozy evening fire after a day on the ski slopes.

The functional kitchen is adequate for preparing full meals
or simply sandwiches to take to the ski slopes.

Windy Hollow cabin is in a residential neighborhood, but still feels very secluded. There are many large pine trees on the three lots. Windy Hollow Cabin has central heating but not air conditioning - at an elevation of 6700 feet, very seldom is an air conditioner required. There are also 3 cable TV’s in the cabin for simultaneously watching football games, old romantic movies and cartoons. A DVD and VCR are also included. Other than a dishwasher, the cabin is very well stocked and functional. Friends and family have stayed there for months at a time.

Windy Hollow includes both a gas fireplace and wood burning stove.

We have been very fortunate to have our Windy Hollow Cabin in the family for over 35 years. Only recently have we taken over the management duties. We look forward to providing you a nice clean property at an affordable price so that you can make the most of your vacation holiday. Ruidoso, New Mexico is a fantastic village, from winter snow skiing and snow boarding to summer horse races and casinos year around. Of all the places to choose from, Ruidoso is where my wife and I chose to marry. If you haven’t been there, we think you will really enjoy the many attractions Ruidoso has to offer. The name Windy Hollow came from an intermittent stream and tributary to the Colorado River on our ranch in Texas. Below you will find a link to more photos.
